Time running short for Summitt license plates
With deadline approaching, the necessary number of preorders has not been reached

Time is running out for the Pat Summitt license plates to become a reality.
As of late last week, according to a Knoxville News Sentinel report, the state had received 795 preorders of the specialty plate designed to honor the late University of Tennessee women’s basketball coach, the proceeds of which will benefit the Pat Summitt Foundation.
